Pirates … uh, okay I guess

I finally got around to watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. Yes, it has taken this long largely because I’ve been living in motel as I searched for a new home.

Anyway … I have a new home. I moved in on the weekend. So I decided to sit down and watch the DVD.

I’ve gotta tell ya … At best, I thought it was okay. Nice. But nothing to do handstands over. There were just too many and too deliberate set pieces. It seemed quite a self-conscious film.

Mind you … I’m very sick and was sick with a cold/flu thing as I watched it so my opinion is tainted, to say the least.
