Number 8 on the Top Ten Films of 1968, over at Britannica Blog, is Mel Brooks’ The Producers, a work of comic brilliance. I don’t have anything to say about the movie other than it makes me laugh whenever I see it. And if you want to see two great comic performances, see the movie and watch Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder.

For me, the funniest moment in the film, certainly the one that makes me laugh each time I see it, is “Springtime for Hitler.”
